ISN'T BEING A MICROSOFITE A DREAM FOR EVERY COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENT ALL OVER THE WORLD?.....
....Well,I think everyone having even a bit familiarity with the tech world has the answer to it.How can I be an exception to it?But I like to share one thing with you....
I am a big fan of Microsoft and joining Microsoft one day is my dream.I believe in dreaming big..after all,if one dreams big,then at least he or she can fulfil at least a part of it.
Which person using a computer does not use Microsoft Word or Windows?
Which industry or educational institution or government runs today without using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint?
Who does not use or at least no know about Internet Explorer?
.........The answers to all the above clearly proves the importance of Microsoft.
WINDOWS 8
This is the screenshot of what I
am seeing everyday whenever I switch on my laptop. Without Windows, who am I? I
felt this more when once my Windows crashed due to a hardware malfunction of my
computer. Then I was using Windows 7.Before that,I also used Windows XP during
my school days.
MICROSOFT WORD
Without Microsoft Word,
completing documents, completing project reports-these are not possible. It is
a very handy tool which comes to my resort during project submission,assignment
submission,… and so on and so forth.
MICROSOFT POWERPOINT
Microsoft Powerpoint is my first
and last solution for preparing presentations as a part of my B.Tech coursework
or other extra projects.
MICROSOFT EXCEL
I have used Microsoft Excel for
creating data sheets, importing the data into different programs. As a part of
my work as an Industry Relationship Cell associate of the college, I have created and
updated alumni databases of our college…This is one of the several instances
where I am using Microsoft Excel regularly.
BING NEWS
When nothing to do, frankly I
connect to the internet and search for the Microsoft Bing News. It helps to
catch up with the recent news in a few seconds. So, why to look into the TV
waiting for the news program, when you have lack of time and BING NEWS at your
hand always?
BING MAPS
Sometimes I use this windows app
to find out location of some places where I will have to go for the first time
or in an unknown city when I am there for the first time.
MICROSOFT INTERNET
EXPLORER
I believe this is a nice browser
and I use it quite often. Students, who have not yet been a part of any
industry through internships or jobs, will not believe that in industry, Microsoft
Internet Explorer is the browser used because of its advanced features and high
security quotient.
MICROSOFT VIRTUAL ACADEMY
It is such a feature where one
can access several courses free of cost from the best resource persons for the
concerned topics. These courses are suitable for enhancing employment skills and
also for enhancing knowledge. I have participated in two courses from the vast
set of courses.
MICROSOFT DREAMSPARK
Using this facility, students
can access and download several softwares from Microsoft..this is indeed
unique!!!!
MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO
2010
I have used this software
several times including a project using OpenGL library where I coded on this
IDE. An easy to use solution really for coding in C/C++!!!!
MICROSOFT SQL SERVER
ENTERPRISE EDITION
I have used this
software to learn SQL from scratch and it is very handy and comfortable to
learn SQL using this software as it provides a coded version and a GUI
operation of every operation simultaneously.
HOW I PLAN TO BRING ABOUT
A CHANGE IN THE SOCIETY BEING AN MSA?

Collaborate with
other Microsoft student associates all over India to gain more knowledge about
Microsoft products, services and opportunities and share ideas and knowledge.

Collaborate with
other MSAs and Microsoft coordinators to plan about organizing interesting
events in my college campus.
·
Plan about
organizing intra-college and inter-college competitions based on Microsoft
products and services.
·
Plan about
organizing workshops with the help of resource persons from Microsoft or their
partners.
·
Look for ways to
enhance my technical knowledge and also of my friends and juniors.
·
Find ways to solve
new challenges coming up in the way of my increase of horizon of technical knowledge.
